Delicious, they packed so much food, the service was nice, and the ambience was wonderful, 100% approve!!

Super yummy lamb over rice with white sauce. The portion sizes are huge and the price is cheap. Food is made quite fast, so little wait time. There's space to sit down inside, but people usually seem to get takeout here.

Not sure about ambiance, as I've only ever had through door dash. The mixed platter is the best! Totally beats halal guys. It's reminiscent of the original halal guys before they blew up. The lamb and chicken are never dry and super flavorful. Rice is always cooked and tasty. White sauce is different but totally jives with the meats!

A Mediterranean place in New Brunswick by Rutgers university, King of gyro is a delightful spot. When you walk in, the place is clean and it wasn't busy when I go there. I ordered over the phone and my food was already ready when I got in. I ordered the mixed gyro platter and it comes with chicken, lamb, pita, rice, and salad. The chicken is seasoned beautifully and cooked perfectly. The lamb is very flavorful and the white and hot sauce are great. The chicken and lamb together make a wonderful combination. My sister is vegetarian and said the rice tasted like it's cooked in some sort of meat broth, so a heads up for the vegetarians. But overall the service is good, the food is great, and the place has a nice vibe. I'd recommend checking it out.

Can't believe I tried this place just weeks before I graduated!! Ever since I tried it though I went here every week and got their chicken platter. I was never able to finish it one sitting because their quantity is huge. Service is slow almost every time I went I would have to wait a while. As for ambiance, I could never dare to sit in there because it sometimes smells and looks unclean. However, I'm giving it five stars solely because of how good the food is each time - my favorite place ever now!! Will always come back here when I'm in NB and drag all my friends me here.

Late night cravings drove us to king of gyro where we ordered lamb gyro sandwich and lamb gyro platter. This location is very close to Rutgers university and hence there Were many eateries that were open that late. The lamb Gyro sandwich was delicious, it was packed with meat and we ordered some french fries on the side. The lamb Gyro platter itself was also very good. There was a good amount of meat, with the sauce and plenty of rice with salad on the side. As a matter of fact, I enjoyed It so much that I went back the next day to have it for lunch also. I plan To visit them again and try other items on their menu.
